La prima fase di lavoro, quello del disegno della frangia di test e del taglio dell’erba al suo interno è stata completata prima del tempo previsto.

Come avrete già letto sono molto soddisfatto.

Sia per il rispetto delle dimensioni (dalle immagini dal drone la parte “curva” è simmetrica, identica in entrambe le parti) che dimostra quindi che i calcoli e il metodo per “riportare” il disegno in dimensioni di 40 x 5,7 metri è risultato corretto, sia per la sensazione di starci dentro, che è poi quella più importante.

Ho parlato “come se fossi dentro una nave” e poco dopo ho scoperto che The ship that found herself (la nave che scoprì se stessa) di Kipling deve essere un testo veramente surreale.

Non c’entra niente col progetto, col collegamento delle onde gravitazionali ma sono affascinato dalle associazioni.

Il prossimo passo è quello di creare un’altra frangia di test accanto alla prima in cui tagliare l’erba fuori dalla figura.

E’ un lavoro necessario per capire alla fine quale metodo scegliere (anche se io preferisco la prima).

Lunedi 21 giugno (domani) inizierò con Massimo Giannoni il disegno. Ho dovuto ricalcolare le misure per i paletti in modo da lavoare “da fuori” per non calpestare l’erba dentro la forma futura. Dovremo disegnare un rettangolo di 40 x 5,7 metri parallelo alla prima frangia e tracciare il contorno dall’esterno.

Giovedi poi dovrei tagliare l’erba intorno.

The first phase of work, that of drawing the test fringe and cutting the grass inside it was completed earlier than expected.

As you may have already read I am very satisfied. :-D

Both for the respect of the dimensions (from the images from the drone the "curve" part is symmetrical, identical in both parts) which therefore shows that the calculations and the method to "bring back" the drawing in dimensions of 40 x 5.7 meters was correct, and for the feeling of staying in it, which is then the most important one.

I spoke "as if I were inside a ship" and shortly afterwards I discovered that Kipling's “The ship that found herself” must be a truly surreal text.

It has nothing to do with the project, with the connection of gravitational waves, but I am fascinated by associations.

The next step is to create another test fringe next to the first one where I will cut the grass out of the picture.

It is a necessary job to understand at the end which method to choose (although I prefer the first one).

Monday 21 June (tomorrow) I will start the drawing with Massimo Giannoni. I had to recalculate the measurements for the stakes so as to work "from the outside" so as not to trample the grass inside the future shape. We will have to draw a rectangle of 40 x 5.7 meters parallel to the first fringe and draw the outline from the outside.

Thursday then I should cut the grass around.
