“Intorno alle origini” (about the origins) is a collective artistic work developed on the concept of constellation. The constellation builds a force field, where the single objects transcend, and freely realizes a Gestalt that agrees with our request for meaning. Here is the representation of those fragments created by Luca Serasini, discs like stars and arrows that will connect them to “order” everything into constellations; here is the suspension rendered by the magmatic flow of my “stretched” piano. A collaboration, ours, free from conventions, in which we listen to pure form… whose origin escapes us.

I met Luca Serasini a few years ago, on the occasion of one of his works on the “water cooling towers” of the Enel geothermal power plant in Larderello Italy, and of a fascinating LandArt installation about communication with the stars, via analog telephones with classic rotary dials. I was immediately fascinated by Luca dual soul (a collaborator of the CNR research institution and an artist with a strong appeal to technology). The same appeal felt by Marco (SINTESIMUSIC), a profound connoisseur of the dynamics of ambient music. On this 21st ILIAS conference I was very pleased that they agreed to make an artistic contribution to the event. The constellations of Serasini well represent the concept of ILIAS Open Source LMS, developed for a public and universal domain, therefore free, by a European constellation of service providers.
