In Indian mithology, the Pleiades were known as Kṛttikā which in Sanskrit is translated as "the cutters".  The six stars in Pleiades correspond to six wives, fell in love with Agni, hence the name Pleiades (star of fire). The containers are normally used to cook the rise. The light inside corrispond with the same brightness of each star.
